J9 Accommodation seeks to provide the highest level of accommodation available for its type and is proud to be held to the following standards.

  • We provide indefinite tenancies– you can stay as long as you like.
  • We do not increase your rent – stay as long as you want and have no rent increase.
  • We never evict a tenant who cannot afford to pay their rent only those who wilfully refuse to pay their rent, refuse to claim Housing Benefit, co-operate with obtaining their benefits or finding alternative solutions.
  • We provide a service standard for repairs. Most repairs are attended to within 48 hours and usually emergency repairs are done the same day.
  • We provide the highest level of fire safety protection in our multi-lets
  • Our properties are normally furnished
  • No deposits are taken 
  • Provide a 24/7 manned telephone line
  • Same day tenancies to suitable applicants
  • Easy to read written tenancy agreement with obligations clearly stated.
  • Provide tenancy support to tenants who need it
  • Accurate and prompt tenant references
  • Provide background central heating in most of our multi-lets, this gives a very basic level of heat. Additional heat is available in each room but this must be paid for by your electric meter.
  • We keep written auditable repair and request records
  • Support and help with rent arrears
  • Written Eviction Protocol

In return we expect our tenants to conduct themselves in a tenant like manner, keep to their contract and pay their rent on time.
